Why did you choose Baptist?

The high volume, autonomy, and lack of fellows provides great training without competition for interesting cases.

What is your day like?  Any challenges?  What’s rewarding about your day?

The average day is either 8-5 or 7-4. Throughout the day, cases are checked out with attendings. Noon conference during lunch each day.

What is your favorite thing about Memphis?

Memphis has great food with a lot of options for dining out. There are multiple great public golf courses to choose from.

What made you decide on your career?  Was there someone or something in your life that helped you choose your path?

I chose radiology because of the variety. You get to work with physicians in multiple different specialities while reading studies in a variety of modalities.

Why would you recommend Baptist to a prospective applicant?

The opportunity to pick up extra shifts allows you to make extra money while also honing your skills as a radiologist. As a resident at Baptist you will also get access to free food and parking while at work.
